Craftsmanship and Weaving Process
Each peshtemal is woven on traditional looms, following time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
I personally design and produce these towels in my workshop, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards.
The weaving process begins with selecting the finest cotton yarns.
These yarns are carefully spun to achieve the perfect balance of softness and durability.
The towels are woven in a tight diamond weave, which makes them denser and more absorbent than standard peshtemals.
Unlike mass-produced lightweight towels, these are built to last, maintaining their texture and efficiency after multiple washes.
Color selection is another crucial step. I choose natural and long-lasting dyes that bond well with the cotton fibers,
ensuring fade-resistant and vibrant colors. Due to variations in dye absorption, some colors may result in slightly heavier towels than others.
